At Biodance, we prioritized safety from the very beginning of our mask development process, ensuring that our masks deliver ample nourishment to the skin even when worn for extended periods. To achieve this, we excluded 20 potentially harmful and allergy-inducing ingredients and developed all components with EWG safety ratings.

During the development process, we found that an "artificial gelling agent" would typically be used to maintain the mask’s shape. However, because this ingredient could be problematic for sensitive skin, we decided not to include it. Instead, we used 34g of gel to create a thicker sheet compared to other products, minimizing the risk of tearing and deformation.

Since our mask sheets are made by solidifying the ampoule, each one is individually hand-packaged after production, rather than using automated machinery. This process may result in slight shape variations in some products. However, by avoiding artificial gelling agents, we’ve ensured that our masks are safer and gentler on the skin.
